The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This is a book about a very famous but old Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo and the not so famous reporter Monique. I really like how the author added depth to the characters personality. Monique is a really, I would say, nice person. But because she is not famous, when Evelyn first announce that she is going to give an interview to the unknown journalist. It made a blast online, people saying mean things to Monique.

The book showed how Evelyn found herself finally after lost in her career, money. She realised that she focused on the not-so-important things in life and wasted her time. She knew who her true love was finally. The ending was so emotional, true and realistic.

The character of Evelyn is a mix of a lot of famous Hollywood stars (e.g. Marilyn, Audrey, Judy). Her ending is sad as everybody she loved was gone. I loved,loved,loved this book and thank you Taylor Jenkins Reid for writing this awesome book! Truly learned a lot!🤍
